Laser is new. It’s new because it’s a new application. Lasers have been around for years. We have used lasers for lots and lots of different surgical techniques, but what’s unique about this laser—it doesn’t burn, and because it doesn’t burn, it doesn’t hurt. What it does is it vaporizes the organism underneath the toenail without cutting the toenail, without causing a burn.
