Pancreatitis and Lung Cancer
I just found out today that the stomach issues I have are because I have pancreatitus…or at least that is the best conclusion the docs can come up with for now.
Basically Pancreatitis is an inflamation of the pancreas. The treatment for this is no food or liquid for about 4-5 days. Today is the first time I have eaten real food all day. This morning I had 1/2 bagel and then for dinner tonight I had 1/2 veggie burger and a couple of fries. So far my stomach seems to be okay…maybe a little uneasyness, but overall no major pains.
Hopefully this means that I will be able to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow =)
