I have had a growth in my neck for as long as i could remember...maybe 16yrs old. growing up in foster homes health care, other then the bare minimum was never a sense of urgency. in 2010 after having some tests and going to the ENT specialist, i pleaded to have the growth removed still unknown to what it was. I didn't care, it had gotten to the point in was too uncomfortable. after surgery we dicovered it had been a cancerous mass and it had grown over %80 of my thyroid and it had almost reached my spine. this has been quite a journey, and i have learned a lot from the internet. I feel doctors mean well but still don't really prepare us for what is to come.
