Include Thyroid Hormones information on your My EmpowHer page
The thyroid gland produces two hormones, T3 and T4, critical to controlling general metabolism. Every cell in the body depends on proper levels of T3 and T4 to regulate the use energy and oxygen in order to function. Too much or too little of T3 and T4 leads to the complex symptoms of various thyroid conditions, most of which are treatable with medications.
