Julianna Lyddon explains how mind, body, spirit integration can assist in the healing process of breast cancer.
Hi. My name is Julianna Lyddon and I have my master’s in marriage and family and child therapy and I am also an intuitive therapist.
I am not saying that mind, body, spirit integration is a cure for breast cancer. It is to be used in complement or in conjunction with other medical treatments or modalities that you might be involved in because the idea of mind, body, spirit integration regarding breast cancer is that we want to look at other facets of who we are as human beings and use this to aid us in the healing process.
For example, let’s look at the function of the female breast. The breast is there to produce breast milk to nourish our infants. So if we are thinking of nourishment I encourage you to ask yourself a metaphorical question – as a woman, how do you see nourishment in your life? Are you able to nourish yourself or are you so busy nourishing those around you that you forget to give yourself the time that you need as far as nourishing and feeding yourself, or do you find that you have trouble opening the door to allowing others to nourish you when you need it most?
Are you the type of woman that believes in your power, that sees your beauty, that recognizes that what you are contributing to the world is being noticed? Now these types of questions may resonate with you on an intuitive level, and if they do, I encourage you to take the time to contemplate these types of questions because they allow us to open ourselves up to a new level of awareness and in this day and age we need to be even more comprehensive with our treatment plans. So this allows you the opportunity to look at aspects of yourself that maybe you haven’t paid attention to. So make up a few of your own metaphorical questions that surround this theme of nourishment.
