Dr. Chap shares why she considers Saint John's Health Center a special cancer facility.
Well, it is very special in that, although it’s not a university environment, it really draws in, I believe, the best of all the sub-specialties. The sub-specialties work very closely together. There’s a lot of camaraderie; phone calls are returned expeditiously with really the patient’s care being up and foremost for all of the physicians. So I really feel that it’s a cohesive group, and I really think offers state-of-the-art medicine for patients that I think can’t be beaten anywhere else in the country or beyond, frankly.
