Hi good day i been on birth control novynette (21 pack) for years now but i think i been taking it wrong, after i finish a pack my period comes after 3 days for 6 days and i start my new pack on the 6th day, but it says i'm suppose to start each new pack on the 8th day, but if i do that it will be more than a week i will be without the pills, is my period supposed to come the day after the 21 days?? and then i start back on the 8th day after my period??? if so how do i do that will i have to go a month without taking the pills and start over??.......one last thing i lost a pill this month a took the last pill in the pack as replacement so i only have 20 will my period be a day earlier????

Here is the correct way to take Novynette:
--Start the first pill on the first day of your menstrual period.
--Take one pill a day for 21 days
--Stop taking the pill for 7 days
--during the week you will have a period
--Start taking the pills again on the 8th day
Being off the pill for one week is very important to keeping your period regular. If you wish you can go off the pill and then restart. However, you risk disrupting your cycle even more. So I suggest you start where you are now and try taking it correctly from now on.
February 6, 2016 - 7:05pmAnother option would be to take a birth control pill in which you take sugar pills during your period week. This helps you stay on schedule.

i now finish my pack but since i had lost a pill there are only 20 pills i took, will it be ok if i start my next pack on the 8th day instead since that's the correct way? i been taking it on the 6th day because that's when my period ends, and if i take it on the 8th day will my perod still come the regular time as before? or will it push back till i finish the pack? i don't want to be bleeding while I'm taking the pills
