Should someone miss pills and their bodies not longer have enough hormones to prevent ovulation, does ovulation happen instantly, days, or how long?

Hi, Anon.

Thank you for posting.

This might be a question to ask your GYN or pharmacist. I think it would depend on how many BC pills were missed and how often. When taking BC pills it's important to take them regularly for them to be effective. And if you do miss, making up the missed dose is recommended, even if it's the next day.
