Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your symptoms.

Do you have a fever? Loss of appetite? Body aches?
Do you suffer with any medical conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes or COPD?

The swollen neck may be swollen or enlarged lymph nodes. Lymph nodes play a vital role in your body's ability to fight off viruses, bacteria and other causes of illnesses.

Your sinuses and ears are connected inside your head. So sinus congestion and stuffiness can affect the pressure in your ears. Treating sinus congestion may help overall discomfort and pain from that pressure. Sinus congestion may be the reason your ears feel blocked.

Anonymous, I am not certain what is causing the sunk in area near your ears.
These symptoms may indicate a case of an upper respiratory infection, the common cold or virus.

If you are worried, call your physician.
Regards,
Maryann
