My boyfriend and I engaged in manual sex yesterday. He fingered me first and then I gave him a handjob. He ejaculated and as we were nowhere near water...we just used tissue. Later we both washed our hands. A few hours later he started to finger me again...it was in the same place he ejaculated last time. I am worried about pregnancy. I know and I've read several places that say it is impossible...but I'm still freaking out.

Hi Unknown-108,
Plan B is probably out of your body by now. It can have an effect on your next menstrual cycle. Because it works by preventing ovulation, the normal hormonal balance that regulates your cycle is upset. This can cause your next period to start earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.
I think it would be wise to talk with a gynecologist and discuss all birth control options. Choose the one that will work best for you.

This may sound like a stupid question but is it ok to go back to my birth control pills after the Plan B? I used to be on the pill and stopped it for a while. More generally, should any contraceptive be ok after Plan B? Sorry, I am fairly new to this.

Hi Unknown-108,
No need to apologize. It is better to ask question and understand.
Any contraceptive is okay to use. The one time use of Plan B will not have any effect.
If those birth control pills worked well, I see no reason not to take them again. You probably need a new prescription.

I know I already asked you this before, but I am about to start on my birth control pack this Sunday. Since I took plan b my period has been heavier, and late. Is it safe for me to take birth control?

Hi Unknown-108,
Did you tell your doctor this? What did the doctor say?
Your period, which came after taking Plan B, was late and flow was heavier because you had this side effect of the pill.
It should be safe to start taking your birth control pills on Sunday.
