I have been on the depo shot since march 2010 when my daughter was born and i have missed my august shot (2011) and i have been feeling like i am pregnant. the queezieness, dizziness, and tired all the time. i just found out the not only one of my boobs has the colostrum in it when only the right one had it. is it possible that i am pregnant? i am 42 yrs old and i need to know if there could be a way that i am expecting so that i can get the proper care for the baby.

Hi,
The only way to know if you are pregnant is to have a hCG or pregnancy test. As you know, a Depo-Provera shot protects against an unplanned pregnancy for 3 months. Have you had sex since the end of July to now? The breasts produce colostrum beginning during pregnancy and continuing through the early days of breastfeeding. Make an appointment with your gynecologist/obstetrician. You can have a hCG test and begin prenatal care if you are pregnant. Please keep us posted.
