Q:

Can you get pregnant due to dry humping?

So the past 2 months, i've been getting my period exactly on the 22nd. When I'm stressed, i know it can delay. My boyfriend and I were pretty much dryhumping, but he had boxers and jeans on, and i had my underwear (it was lace, and i'm afraid that maybe stuff can get through easier) and pantie liner on, although at times i felt like my pantie liner wasn't in place right, but just around the clitoris area. It's past the 22nd, but sometimes my period isn't always exact of course, but i've been pretty paranoid after dryhumping. I've been very active with school, and not getting good sleep and afraid that maybe i've been overactive to where my body can't keep up. I recently got a cold and wondering if that can affect my period in some way. Although lately, I haven't been that nervous about it. My discharge has been kind of heavy, whiteish and yellowish. This only started about more than a week ago. My boyfriend and I did dry heaving on the 17th. I've been kind of moody and a little cramping. I'm worried about being pregnant or something. please tell me advice.

Well I had that problem a couple of times but you have to have sexual intercourse in order for you to get pregnant dry humping with clothes on Nah ive done that for a long time. Im now 7 weeks pregnant because i had sexual intercourse so dont be afraid if you have clothes on. Like I said i dry humped for months and nothing happened only sexual intercourse with no protection.

Can you become pregnant after dry humping if the guy was wearing boxers and you were wearing lacy pants but he ejaculated inside his boxers but not inside you.

I was having the exact same issue under similar circumstances (pants were on for both of us.) So this has been very comforting. Suffering with the same symptoms as you I was paranoid with the idea of there being a chance pregnancy. As this event has bothered me so much I don't think it's worth doing it over again.
I'm 22, recently on celexa and abien, underweight , and i think I missed my period last month due to a huge amour of stress (haven't had sexual contact of any kind then). Can't tell if the cramps and nausea ate from the medication or of its premenstrual. Never had cramps before my period. I've also looked up IBS, and a yeast infection as a culprit.
Anyway thanks for posting this.

I was worried about the same thing, trust me there is no way you are pregnant and if you are not on the pill, don't expect your period to be normal at all, it won't be. I recently dry humped with not much clothing while the guy was in jeans, I also have a strange yellowishclear discharge that is odorless.... It is from your pussy getting irritated from grinding on the guys jeans I'm pretty sure, I'm calling my doctor today to double check. Dry humping can be irritating to your genitals and your guys too so next time give him a handy and have him finger you..then you won't overreact when your period is a little late too lol. Hope that helps and hope your not stressing more than you need to!!

Hi Anonymous,

There are many things that will delay your period especially if you are concerned with pregnancy. Stress will certainly be one of the major factors in causing a delay. Also, it is very common to have irregular periods in your teen years and in your 20s. It is often funny that when you think you are pregnant and are concerned, your period will be delayed and then you buy a pregnancy test which proves negative......BAM, your period starts.

I hope the threads that Susan shared helped you better understand how sex (pregnancy) works. This is often a misconception. If you are becoming sexually active, you certainly should read the above links to better understand how it all works.

Good luck!

Missie

ok thank you. That does put me at ease. But can it also be because of my recent cold and i was taking 2 different medicines to relieve my symptons? or being overactive around the time my period should come?

Hi Anonymous

You cannot get pregnant through clothing. What you are describing cannot make you pregnant. We get a lot of questions on this, and the answer is always the same: No.

Maybe reading some of them will help you feel better: https://www.empowher.com/search/google?cx=007544384767083790728%3A2otat3sg2a8&cof=FORID%3A9&query=dry+humping&op=GO&form_build_id=form-e00d77e658cf92c79acaed92bc60531b&form_token=db9a052f9b1b6a6aeb3e12e9441d1589&form_id=google_cse_searchbox_form

Thanks for writing and good luck.
