Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

Pls I had unprotected sex on the 6 th of February but I didn't take postinor 2 immediately but later dat day xo i had to take the two at a time and my period was supposed to come on d 9th of February but it didnt pls is this normal and wen am I supposed to c my period

Hello Anonymous,
Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. You took the pill just days before your period was due to start, so ovulation happened about two weeks before.
The pill probably as not effective and only caused a delay in the start of your period.
If your period does not start in the next week, call your gynecologist.

I did took the postinor 2 pills at once. By that i mean i drank both pills at the same time. Not one first amd another one within 12 hours. Shall i drink again and follow the rules or is it okay like that?

Hello took postinor 2 after sex.was ovulating though, and it's almost 2 weeks no bleeding or any form of pain.too scared to do a PT test.am I pregnant?

I don't understand. What is the relation of breakthrough bleeding with the delayed/prevented ovulation? If the ovulation is said to be delayed or prevented, why does a woman gets the withdrawal bleeding due to postinor? Do you think there is chance of getting pregnant if I had sex 2 days after my period end? Period last for 6 days and ovulation occurs on day 14.

An emergency contraceptive pill contains a high dose of levonorgestrel, which is very similar to progesterone, a naturally occurring hormone.
This high dose stops an ovary from releasing an egg (ovulation). Without a released egg, there is nothing for sperm to fertilize.
The high dose triggers the shedding of the uterine lining, That is what you see when you have withdrawal or breakthrough bleeding.
There would not be a risk for becoming pregnant by having unprotected sex two days after your period ended because it would be too early for ovulation.

I then slept with him again a few days after again no ejcaulation and took another set of postinator 2. I came on my period on the 5th of Jan and it stopped on the 7th Jan. Baring in mind I've taken the pill twice in one week and slight spotting after taking doses I still have not seen my period I should of come on on the 4th of Feb (I'm sure) so I'm a week late. I have slight pulling sensation and gas in my lower adomine. Should I be worried ? How long should my period delay for ? And are these side effects normal ?

I somehow had unprotected sex a week apart from my ovulation day to be occurred. However there was no penetration or ejaculation inside my vagina. Took postinor 2 within 14 hours with second pill exactly 12 hours later. Got 5 days of withdrawal bleeding due to ECP, also got my period back that last for 7 days and 3 negative pregnancy test where all was taken more than 4 weeks after sex. But idk why am I still feeling anxious, scared and paranoid of being pregnant :( Do you think I should to take blood test?

The bleeding and negative pregnancy test result confirmed that you did not become pregnant. There is no need to take a blood pregnancy test.
