Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

February 9, 2017 - 3:43am1. I have 28 days cycle therefore would most likely to ovulate on day 14. If my period last for 6 days and I have sex on day 8, do you think I am fertile and capable enough to get pregnant?
2. Does the withdrawal bleeding that I got 5 days after taking postinor 2 means it's effective and I won't get pregnant? (It wasn't too heavy but last for 5 days)
3. Should I really count my next period from the first day that I got vaginal bleeding due to postinor 2? (Because my period starts exactly 28 days after the withdrawal bleeding starts)

A woman is fertile five days before ovulation, which for you would be day 10, and on the day of ovulation.
Withdrawal bleeding after taking Postinor 2 is proof that the pill was effective in preventing pregnancy. Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. So, you would not become pregnant during that menstrual cycle.
No. Calculate the start date of your next period based on a 28 day menstrual cycle. Changes in the menstrual cycle are a reported side effect. Your next period can start earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.

February 8, 2017 - 8:20pmI had my period on 1st Feb and I had unprotected intercourse (ejaculated outside) on 7th Feb. As a prevention, I took both tablets of Postinor 2 within 1 hour after the intercourse). On 8th Feb, I did feel stomach ache/period pain, sleepy tiredness and headache. And today, I'm having stomach/period pain too. Is it the side effect of Postinor 2? May I know if I'm getting pregnant?

These sound like the side effects of Postinor 2. You will know whether or not the pill worked once you have bleeding. If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, test for pregnancy.

Hello, I took postinor 2 like few hours after I had an unprotected sex but I forgot to use the 2nd tablet twelve hours later so I had to use it like five hours after the normal time...please would it still work or if not what should I do cuz I'm running outta time

The later you take the pill, the more you decrease its effectiveness. All that you can do now is wait for bleeding to happen. Do not take any more pills.
