hi i am on the birth control pills novynette i just want to know if it does prevent someone from getting pregnant or do it just regulate your period?? can i have unprotected sex while taking it??

Hi I am on the brith control pill novynette I just want to know if I could get pregnant. I had sex in the day time but I forgot to take my pill in d night but I made up for it by taking 2pills this is the first time this happen. I just want to fine out if I could still get pregnant.

Thank you for your question. Birth control is used to control hormones in the body so that you should not get pregnant, however, nothing you use is a 100% guarentee that you will not get pregnant.
My suggestion to you if you are not looking to get pregnant is to always use condoms and birth control to avoid (1) any chances of STDs and (2) possible pregnancy scares.
