2 weeks ago my husband and I had unprotected sex and I took a Plan B 2 hours later. That following night we made the mistake of having unprotected sex again where he ejaculated inside me again, I took another plan B the next day about 12 hours later.
I realized that I should've been ovulating during that week that I had sex according to my period calendar, I'm officially 4 days late and I took a HPT which came out negative.
I'm still nervous that I could be pregnant though since I heard Plan B may not be effective during ovulation, is there a chance that it did not work for me or is my period late due to the fact I took 2 plan B in the span of 2 days?

Hi Anon,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
The Plan B package instructions state that you should take 1 white pill within 72 hours after unprotected sex and 1 more white pill 12 hours later. Based on how you stated you took the pill it should be about 95% effective in preventing pregnancy. And since your HPT is negative, that is 1 confirmation.
Also, because it does contain hormones, it will adjust your menstrual cycle a bit. Everyone is different, but some women it can take 2-4 months before things with their menstrual cycle are back to normal.
I hope this helps.
Be well,
