Hello Anonymous,

A hCG level of less than five is negative for pregnancy.

A week ago my HCG was 2.5, tested today and I got a positive test. Can a test show positive under 5?

Hi, I just had my HCG tested and the result is 166962.0 mIU/ml. What does that mean? Is it a good number? Or is bad?

Thanks

Hello Anne,

You should be speaking with your obstetrician about the number, who knows how far along you are in your pregnancy. hCH levels increase and then level off.
