Hi, I just need to know that what should be the beta hcg levels in the bosy after having normal periods? Should it be zero or it can be anywhere less then 2 or 5?

3 weeks from the last menstrual period, hCG levels range from 5 – 50 mIU/ml.

A hCG level of less than 5 mIUi/mL considered negative for pregnancy.

6 weeks LMP: 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml
7 – 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 – 229,000 mIU/ml
9 – 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 – 288,000 mIU/ml
13 – 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 – 254,000 mIU/ml
17 – 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 – 165,400 mIU/ml
25 – 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 – 117,000 mIU/ml

Hi my hcg was consistently at 0 for the last 8 months after my early Mc then yesterday it's showing at 2. I know that's low but if I conceived the embryo would have only implanted on the 3rd. Is there any chance of me actually having my rainbow baby?

i had my iui this month, yesterday my beta hcg level results were showing 1.67miu/ml.
My nurse told its a very faint positveand told for another bloodwork after 2 days. can i be pregnant with 1.67miu/ml??

Hello Anonymous,

An hCG level of less than 5mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy, and anything above 25mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy.
