Hi Garetha

My first question would be does she have an STI? If so, what one?
Generally speaking, the odds of getting an STI this way would be very slim. But there are a few you can catch if your partner has sores in her mouth and you kiss, so there's a tiny chance there. We have information on STIs that may be helpful to you: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/sexually-transmitted-disease-std-center.

Good luck to you. In the future, you may want to consider condoms to keep yourself protected. If you have some with you, you don't have to worry about trying to have willpower in the heat of the moment, because that is tough.
