hi, i had sex on thursday at 3:00pm & took one postnol 2 pill at 11am this morning & waited till 3pm to take the other one, did i need to wait more ? could that have interrupted its work and not prevent a pregnancy outcome?

The directions for taking Postinor 2 are to take the first pill as soon as possible and the second pill 12 hours later. You should have taken the second pill at 11:00 pm.
Effectiveness is based on taking the pills as directed.

Check with your pharmacist or gynecologist, because I don't know the answer.
