hormonal profile test

I am asked to take my hormonal profile test on the 2nd day of my period. Now my periods don't show a normal flow. Its like brown discharge. Should I go for the test now or wait until next month. I want to know the odds of the reading going wrong

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It all depends which type of hormonal test? If it's a home pregnancy test, you will need to read the instructions because every test is different. For most test, you should wait until your period is late. Hope this was helpful?
