Today my boyfriend and I had sex we didn’t used a condom because I’m on the pills. My concern is that we had sex very close to getting my period. I’m expecting my period on Sunday and now I’m scared of getting pregnant. I nevered missed a pill should I take the emergency pill?

The purpose of the Pill is to prevent pregnancy. It is more than 99% effective and is more effective than emergency pills. There is no need to take emergency pills, at any time of the month, when on the Pill. It's a good idea to check out your Pill's website to understand how it works.

I have one last question on Wednesday I took honey, ginger and lemon because I had a sore throat. I looked online to check if it interfered nothing appeared. Do you think it interferes?
