My bf and I had unprotected sex right atfer I just ended my period I took plan B pills and the next day I got my period again even though I just had it 3 days earlier. But now I still haven't gotten my period. Is it possible that I'm just late?

Can anyone please help me? I'm thinking I'm just going to get my period really late. Or is it possible that I am pregnant? Answers asap please.

I had sex like 2 days after my period and the condom broke. My partner and I got the plan b the next day. I guess I'm making my self paranoid but will I get pregnant? The same thing happened like a year or two ago when I took it for the first time and I didnt get pregnant. My periods are never regular so what should I expect?

I have previously posted this question on this web.. this is detail of my last post.

"i had sex on 23/3 and the next morning 24/3 i took EC...so its within the 72 hours.. at exactly 7 days, i had my period for about 4 days only when my period usually last for 5-7 days. Im suppose to have my period on 12/4 normally as i have regular period according to my last period..and now its 18/4 and i haven't had my period yet.

so im suppose to expect my period on 31/4 ? putting the 4 days period that last for 4 days after EC into consideration or i could be pregnant?"

Today is 11 May and i still havent got my period, took 2 HPT and its tested nagative.. and now im so worried why i havent had my period.. is there something wrong with me?

Hi Anonymous,
It is a know side effect that taking emergency contraception can mess up your menstrual cycle. If you are concerned, make an appointment to see your doctor, otherwise, you will just need to wait until you get your next period. Be sure to not put yourself at increased risk for pregnancy until then, and using regular birth control methods (condoms, spermicide, birth control pills, etc.) will alleviate any worry in the future. Pregnancy tests are very sensitive at picking up pregnancy hormones, so if it says negative, you likely are not pregnant.
For more information, please review this article: Emergency Contraception Update, 2010.

I just looked at my period planner results from website. it showed the signs on each day and such and my period should come on may 1st. I don't have those signs at all and I haven't started spotting. Is there something wrong?

Women can experience what they consider a "delay" in their periods with nothing being wrong. Reasons for a period that is late, delayed or even missed entirely include: pregnancy, recent illness, new medication, weight change, excessive stress or medical conditions.

You can wait a week to see if your period begins, but please know that it is completely normal for women's bodies to ebb-and-flow with their menstrual cycles---our bodies are not exact machines, as they react to our surroundings and can change within normal ranges (a normal range for cycles is between 21-35 days).

My first period was March 1st. I had taken plan b the last 72 hours on March 11 almost a week later on the 16 i got a 2nd period, i've never had that before, then the following 2 weeks after that, I would consistently get headaches at any time of day, i have taken 4 hpt tests, but ive done some reading and apparently, even if you are positive with a blood test, you can still continue to have negative hpt tests, im now 2 weeks late from my due period, so im just gonna go for it and get tested, but might just wait another week though, since ive been getting sore boobs, cramps, definitely moody but that's all the same as my menstrual period, and feel that i may be wasting an appt. Sucks waiting, this month has felt like forever..What do you suggest?

Hi Anonymous,
Home Pregnancy tests are super sensitive, so if you have taken 4 of them and all are negative, I would go on the assumption you're not pregnant, and continue to wait for your period. Emergency contraception is known to possibly mess up your menstrual cycle. Make sure to not put yourself at any further risk for pregnancy by using some kind of birth control method (condom, daily birth control pills, withdrawal, or abstinence), to avoid confusing things more. If you are really concerned, call your doctor's office and see what they suggest.
Good luck!
