Hello Anon

Thank you for writing and I'm sorry you're dealing with these rather serious health issues.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is divided into five stages. The last stage is called end stage renal disease (ESRD) and is usually the time when dialysis or transplant is needed. Have you spoken to your doctors about this?

Stage 3 heart failure is serious. Generally, a person's physical abilities can be limited and symptoms can include being out of breath, chest pain, extreme tiredness and even bloating and nausea. You are likely on medication and getting rest but we cannot say what your life expectancy is with both these health conditions - you will need to speak to your specialists about this.

This is surely a very hard time for you - I hope you are receiving as much support as possible.

Best,
Susan
