im going to my doc tommorow to check if i have hpv since little tiny genital warts appeared im ver anxious since ive never had this before or gone thru it , what will the doctor do to me if i have genital warts will she freeze them away? i want them gone does anyone know what the docs do once they confirm you have genital warts?

Thank you for your post and welcome! Have you had unprotected sex to think that you may have an STD? The warts can be treated but the virus will remain in your body. Burning or Freezing of the warts is usually only done if you are unresponsive to topical treatment. Meaning: the doctor will prescribe an ointment and if your warts don't go away with a few different ointments then they will consider cryosurgery or laser treatment.
