Q:

Is it likely to become pregnant if you miss day 2 and 4 of pill pack but make them up as instructed

I'm taking Kariva and started a new pack on Sunday, Nov. 18. I missed Monday and made it up by taking two on Tuesday morning. But, I accidentally missed Wednesday as well and didn't make that up until Thursday evening. I'm experiencing some mild cramps that remind me of period cramps now (11 days after the first missed pill) but no other unusual feelings. I did have sex within the 7 day window, so I'm curious how likely it could be that I've gotten pregnant. Thanks!

Guide

Hello, Anon. Thank you for posting today!

If you made up the doses as instructed, the chances are likely low. We cannot guarantee this. For future, a backup method of birth control is advisable if you have sex within in the 7 days after missing pills.
