Is it my period or could it be something else?

My period is usually heavy in the beginning then slows down bout the 4th day. I usually have my cycle for about 5-6 days. This month I was 12 days late. When I started it was very light. I didn't even need a pad the first 3 days. The 4th day I needed a panty liner cuz I started bleeding just a little more but only for a liner. Well this my 6th day and still lightly bleeding. Normally I get the cramping the first 2 days but I didn't get the cramping til my 4th day and today bein my 6th day I've been crampin off and on and it really is painful. Any suggestions to why it's totally opposite? I got the essure procedure done last February so I'm not suppose to beable to have anymore kids but the more I read up on it the more I hear bout women gettin pregnant even after the procedure. Could it be my period just bein different or could it possibly be the coils???

Hi ]]>[email protected]]]>,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Some of the side effects after this procedure may be bleeding and cramping.  It's important to discuss with your doctor and explain your symptoms, especially after having this procedure done. Hope this was helpful?
