Has anyone tried the new Jillian Michaels QuickStart Rapid weight loss program, Maximum strenght fat burner pills, or the Thincare international Jillian Michaels maximum strenght calorie control tablets, or the triple process body detox and clense. If so could you tell me is it safe and is it worth the money?

The person I talked to at GNC said you can take them both at the same time. She said the Calorie one is mainly for if you have problems with over eating. She said it will help you to control that. So if you don't have a problem with that, then you prob wouldn't really need those.

I am using them now and have only been taking them for under a week. So, I will post something further on to let you know of any progress. I also am working out harder and trying to eat better.

I saw this on her website...

Take 2 MetaCaps of the Detox & Cleanse component with a full glass of water twice per day, in the morning and early evening, for 7 days. Do not exceed 4 MetaCaps per day. Following the 7-day detox/cleanse period, take 1 Probiotic MetaCap per day with a full glass of water for 7 days. This treatment may be repeated every 3 to 4 months as desired.

Hi, Anon, and thank you for your question.

I wanted to note that your weight gain since June probably has to do with the decrease in your estrogen levels since your remaining ovary was removed. Have you talked to your gynecologist about this? Once we are in full menopause, our weight issues are a little different than they were earlier in our lives. What you eat, how much you exercise and what nutritional supplements we take all have a major impact on our ability to lose weight.

I don't have any particular knowledge of the JM weightloss products; but I will say that with a menopausal weight gain, you may need to look more at a lifestyle change rather than just a weightloss product. You could lose the weight and gain it right back otherwise.

Please do mention this to your doctor, however. Are you on any hormone replacement therapy?

I am not on any hormonal replacement drugs. I've heard to many bad things about them. I do watch what I eat and I do exercise I'm just very frustrated!

I used the three week Body Detox and Body Cleanse. I didn't feel jittery, thirsty, or any different at all really. The informational pamphlet provided inside the box wasn't informative at all. It basically said the product contained a probiotic formula which promotes a healthy detox and supports weight loss. I think this product may simply be a vitamin. HOWEVER, I worked out every day for 3 weeks while taking the product as directed and am happy to announce I lost 10 lbs. So maybe the product did work or maybe it was simply the exercise?
