Hi I got an Kyleena IUD twelve days ago. Everything went well. Now I'm on my period and my strings are lower than before. Is this normal when on your period for the strings to move? I have been using tampons. My bleeding is less than normal. But could the tampons cause my IUD to move down?

If you feel your strings moving, your IUD could be moving. Call your doctor for advice.
