Left nipple pain and has become larger than the other

I noticed that after fooling around with my boyfriend (no vaginal sex involved) my left nipple has become increasingly sore and has grown to be larger than my right one. I am not pregnant since I just got my period. Also the skin on the nipple has some cracks and is very red. I don't know what to do, the pain gets so bad sometimes I cant wear a bra anymore. Please let me know what I should do!

Hi Anonymous,
Sounds like your boyfriend might be favoring your left breast and being a bit aggressive while fooling around. You can ask him to be less aggressive. In the meantime, try a vitamin A & E ointment applied to the nipple to relieve the cracked, red skin.
If the pain, swelling, redness and cracked skin do not improve with "less aggressive fooling around" , you should see your doctor.
