Hello! I have a problem that is affecting my relationship and I'm hoping you could help me understand why this is happening.
I started having sex with my boyfriend about 10 months ago. We've been together for 2 years and we started this because we thought it would be the next step in our relationship . we were each other's first so we didn't have experience in this field. The first months were difficult but then we got better and we started enjoying it a lot. everything is normal now, except the fact that I can't orgasm. I've started masturbating about a year after I got my first period, because I found that it can help me relax, and I got used to doing this in the shower (and at least once a week) . I have an orgasm every time I do it alone. We thought that the problem was that I got used to that kind of stimulation so I quit doing it 3 weeks ago. The feeling was more intense afterwards, but still, nothing happened. I feel a lot of pleasure during intercourse, but something is missing. I don't think that he is doing something wrong, but I feel that the sensation is simply not as intense, although I enjoy it very much and I consider that he is really really good. We tried to understand what I do when I get myself to climax, and use it , but this didn't seem to work either.
I don't know what the cause is... I even thought it might be something psychological. We don't know what to do anymore and it is frustrating for the both of us.
Please help me understand: What's the problem and what should we do to to solve it?
