Q:

One Labia Minora is Bigger and longer than the other side

So after having sex a few times with my partner, one of my labia minoras would swell but only for a couple of hours, and would decrease to equal size as the other side. However after another episode of having sex, i noticed that the healing process this time never took full effect. By this I mean, it has been months and now that labia minora is evidently bigger than the other one, and it kind of hangs outside of my vagina.
Is this a big concern for health reasons? Will it ever go back to it's normal size?

please help. Thanks

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Many things can be the cause of this.  An infection, a swollen hair follicle and many other.  It's important to see your OBGYN, since it's a new symptom.

Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
