Hi I've been on yaz pill for 7 months now and this month I decided I wouldn't take a break week and took 2 packs straight after eachother. On my first pack I forgot one just over 12 hours in the 2nd week but took it right away and took the rest at the correct time and in my second pack I took one 2 and a half hours late and had unprotected sex that day.. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?? I took the rest of both pill packs normal time every day, please help

I think you are ok. Again, the best way to know for sure is to take a quick pregnancy test.

Thanks for your help. I read my pill packet on what to do if you forget one and if you forget one on the 2nd week you are protected against pregnancy but you can use extra protection for a week later to but I didn't have sex the week later, it says if you forget one in less then 12 hours your also protected so does this mean I'm ok or should I be worried? I've taken it good apart from one forgotten day it's only that I didn't take a break between both

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Anytime you don't take birth control pills exactly the way the manufacturer instructed you run the risk of pregnancy. Although you have missed pills, you've made sure that you get back on track quickly. So I think you're probably okay, but to certain, you should take a home pregnancy to ease your mind.

I hope this helps.
Be well,
