My husband and I couldn't stop to grab a condom so we decided to just go get the Plan B pill to cover our butts and avoid a 4th child. Being a busy mom, I didn't get around to picking up and taking it until about the second day after. About 31 hours remained for me to take it effectively within the 72 hour window, said the website.
I was fine, but a week later I found a dark spot. Nothing else happened. I thought my period was going to start but it didn't. I'm a nursing mother and had not had my period return after the birth yet. Baby is only 7 months old.
Should I expect a period brought I by this pill? And should I consider that splotch a period?
P.S...
Are there any holistic sources of birth control? I do not fair well with hormone therapies such as the pills and shots and so on.

Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your questions.
I must turf this question to your gynecologist/obstetrician. The reason is you still have not gotten your monthly period since giving birth seven months ago. You are also nursing.
Your hormones are still getting back to normal, and I cannot say what Plan B did to them.
Have you considered having a tubal ligation to prevent any further pregnancies? Would a vasectomy be an option for your husband?
