Hi, I have a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa but I'm all better by this condition. What I'm really wondering about is such condition can a person become proned to get infected for other reasons such as kidney infection? I'm very curious about this because it's been about two months that I realized I'm having symptoms of kidney infection and for this matter I'm going to see the urologist on Tuesday. I was all better but now I started having the symptoms of kidney infection again. Is it anything related to hidradenitis causing you to keep getting infected? I'm afraid such thing becomes a problem for me. Please let me know soon.

Thank You,
Melissa

Okay thanks. One thing I'm wondering which is I've been taking ibuprofen which has been helping me feel better but the pain I have is still there, I want to know will the doctor still be able to know what the problem is? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

Sometimes hidradenitis suppurativa occurs with other diseases, such as Crohn's disease or Graves' disease. I don't know or think that there may be a connection with the kidneys but you will find out tomorrow!

Keep us posted,

Rosa
