Q:

Slim Fast and Birth Control Okay?

Hello,

I want to start using Slim Fast to lose a few pounds before an upcoming trip but I want to make sure that it doesn't affect my birth control. I'm currently on trilevlen and I know that the only medicines I have ever been told to avoid that may counteract it have been antibiotics and St. John's Wart. I just want to make sure there are no other known issues with combining these.

Thanks!

Diet powder products are a mix of stabilizers, preservatives, vitamins and mineral supplements designed to make you feel like you're full and not hungry. There should be no conflict with your birth control pills.
