This is related to my question last time - https://www.empowher.com/community/ask/what-are-effects-nordette-ecp-when-you-took-it-twice-within-2-3-weeks

so i took nordette as ECP (ECP = 4 pills for th first dosage and another 4 pills 12 hrs after) twice, with the span of 3 weeks and i had withdrawal bleeding for both and for the next month i didnt get my period. Also i had a blood pregnancy test 3 weeks after my last PROTECTED intercourse and got a home pregnancy test again after 3 weeks and both came out negative. so could this be the effect of nordette as ecp? until now i still dont have my period, but i am experiencing the symptoms that i felt before i got my withdrawal bleeding (the symptoms are quite similar to pregnancy symptoms and PMS). im getting paranoid right now.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. It is VERY common to have irregularities with the menstrual cycle after taking any emergency contraceptive. If there is a concern for pregnancy, take a pregnancy test. You can expect irregularities for about 2 months after taking EC so I don't think you have much to worry about but time to get the body back to normal.

I hope this helps.
