I had sex recently around December 5, 2016 and I am not on birth control but he used a condom and he put it on there properly and the condom did not break during sexual intercourse. He did not ejaculate because we did not finish. Is there any chances of pregnancy?

Dear Anon,
Thanks for your question to EmpowHer!
Condoms—when used correctly and consistently—prevent pregnancy about 98 percent of the time. The typical effectiveness rate—where mistakes are made or condoms break—is about 82 percent. So, I'd say you are safe in the scenario that you describe.
