I missed one pill Thursday night, in my third week, but made it up as soon as i woke up on Friday morning. I also took my pill about 3 hours late on Saturday night, which would have been my last active pill. My boyfriend and I had sex soon after. We used a condom, but it broke. He had already went shortly before we had sex. He went inside of me not knowing the condom broke, but he barely went. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

I forgot to take my pill this morning (I usually take it at 7 AM), had unprotected sex this afternoon, and took my missed pill at 10 PM. I'm on the 3rd week. Should I be worried?

Usually taking the missed pill in the 12 hour grace period offers protection. You were a bit over that time, but I think you should be okay and not worry. Always can double check with your gynecologist.

Hello PJ,
There is always the possibility that you became pregnant by having intercourse without back up protection on the night you missed taking your birth control pill.
Give it a few more days. See if you have bleeding while on the pill free week. If you do not have any bleeding by the end of the week, speak with your gynecologist before starting a new pack.

I missed 2 birth control pills, a Tuesday and a Wednesday, not realizing it until Thursday after having sex. I doubled up on that Thursday and doubled up again on Friday so I was back on track by Sunday. so what are the chances of me being pregnant if we used a condom on the one day we had sex? I started having a brown discharge the day after.

I take my birth control at 9:30pm I had sex with my boyfriend at 11pm Thursday and he came inside me. I forgot to take my pill the next day as I was away and left my pills at home. I didn't take it until Saturday at 4pm and didn't take Saturday's pill until Sunday at 9am... What are the chances? Also according to a tracker, Friday was my ovulation day.

Hi! I stopped taking the combined pill yesterday as it made me feel very ill. I was prescribed another one but I decided I didn't want to take it yet as I really did not feel well. How long will it take for my period to come back? And would it be possible to start the new prescribed pill when it comes back? Thanks

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he nutted inside of me, that night I fell asleep without taking my birth control and didn't realize until the next night so I doubled up. Is there a chance that I could have gotten pregnant? I noticed that I had some bleeding before I took the two pills.

June 26, 2016 - 12:59amI am a Sunday starter on reclipsen birth control, which I have been on for a couple years. During week 2, I was late taking two or three pills. I usually take them between 7-9 am but did not remember until later in the afternoon on those days. On the Sunday (start of week 3), I completely missed my pill and took it with Monday's pill at roughly 8am. I had bleeding when wiping after using the bathroom and at various times during the day for 2 or 3 days starting the Tuesday after missing Sunday's pill. I had unprotected sex both during week 2 when I was late taking my pill and missed 1 day. I also had unprotected sex at midnight before taking the Sunday pill of my 4th and last week of the pill pack. Should I take plan B tomorrow Sunday or is it unlikely i'm pregnant?

The bleeding was triggered by the missed doses. I hope you have not taken Plan B. Talk with your gynecologist today. It may be too late to take an ECP.
