Hello, Anon!

Thank you for posting.

I can give you some general information. Your doctor can give you more specific information about your condition as we are not privy to the details of your health.

End-stage stage kidney disease occurs when chronic kidney disease reaches an advanced state. In end-stage renal disease, your kidneys are no longer able to work as they should to meet your body's needs.

Kidneys filter wastes and excess fluids from your blood, which are then excreted in your urine. When kidneys lose their filtering capabilities, dangerous levels of fluid, electrolytes, and wastes can build up in the body.

At this stage, you would likely need dialysis or a kidney transplant. But some people may choose to forgo dialysis or transplant and opt for conservative care to manage symptoms, aiming for the best quality of life possible during the remaining time.

We wish you the best in whatever treatment or care path you choose.
