I've been noticing that my eye has been twitching a lot. It feels like my eyelid is having a spasm. Why could this be?

It's hard to say what could be causing the twitching in your eye. Are you having any other problems or symptoms with your eye? Are you experiencing stress that could be causing your muscle to react?
How long does the twitching last? How long has this been going on? Would you classify the twitching as chronic? Or has it just started to happen?
