I know it isn't safe but it's an emergency and something I don't intend to do ever again. I'm on the pill but stopped taking it 5 days ago because it was giving me headaches. However Saturday night I noticed my period was starting. I was devastated because my birthday is tomorrow, Tuesday. So I doubled up Saturday, doubled up Sunday, and took my pill today so now I'm caught up. Can I expect my period to stop soon for my birthday tomorrow or was it all in vain ?!?

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and for sharing your question.
At this point, your period is just going to have to run it's natural course. By tomorrow it should be fairly light, but I don't think it will stop all together.
If you plan to have sex, you must use a second form of birth control to be safe.
Once your birthday is over, you can discuss other brands of pills that hopefully won't give you headaches or a different kind of birth control like Depo Provera.
As for your birthday-keep your fingers crossed that mother nature will come through and your period will be done.
