Physical Activity

Regular physical activity during childhood and young adulthood results in higher peak bone mass. Adults over the age of 30 can help prevent bone loss with regular exercise. Weight-bearing exercises, such as walking, jogging and climbing stairs, are recommended because they force you to work against gravity.
