Yeah, once a fibroid has lost its blood supply, we don’t know how long it really needs to be without its blood supply, but think of an analogy that might makes sense to you as a non-doctor is if you put a blanket on top of a fire, you’ve taken away the air supply. The air supply has oxygen which a fire needs. The fibroids need the oxygen in blood to grow. If we take away that blood supply, if we take away the oxygen, they won’t grow. They will just become dead tissue.
