Nurse Cyndi Iduate:

My name is Cyndi Iduate, and I am the Bariatric Nurse Coordinator for South Miami Hospital. I have been with the system for over ten years, and I am certified in bariatrics, and I, too, am a gastric bypass patient.

Well, definitely they can share experiences that they have had prior to gastric bypass, and they can definitely encounter other patients who have undergone this kind of procedure from the emotional and psychological level, all the way to physical level. So definitely, it’s a great place to meet others and ask questions and find out more about what it entails to be a bariatric patient.
