Hello Anonymous,
It sounds like you may have bacterial vaginosis, which is a type of vaginal inflammation. There is an overgrowth of one of several types of bacteria normally found in the vagina. The overgrowth upsets the natural balance of vaginal bacteria.
Even though it is not known exactly why bacterial vaginosis develops,
unprotected sexual intercourse or frequent douching increases the risk.
Symptoms include a foul-smelling "fishy" vaginal odor, especially after sexual intercourse. A thin, grayish vaginal discharge, vaginal itching and burning during urination are additional symptoms.
You should see your doctor. You should be tested because signs and symptoms of some sexually transmitted infections are similar to those of bacterial vaginosis.
