I usually keep track of my period with an app on my phone, and my period is usuallyon track with the app.. I got my period on July 11th and the app said I was suppose to get my period on the 8th, well 9 days later I still haven't gotten it .. I am sexually active so there is a chance I could've pregnant.. I've taken 4 pregnancy test 2 in the morning and two in the after nono spread out within a couple of days, all were negative.. Also a couple of days after my missed period there was super light pink blood when wiped , not a whole lot and it didn't last long more was it enough to be considered spotting.. Am I pregnant, if Not what could be going on?!

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about possibly being pregnant and negative pregnancy test results. I can appreciate how confusing this must be.

Anonymous, levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced only during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. You have the greatest chance of conceiving during your fertile period, which is two to three days before ovulation, and 12 to 24 hours after ovulating.

To get the most accurate results with a home pregnancy test:
use the first urine of the morning
read all directions and follow them carefully/check expiration date

You could repeat the test. If the results are still negative, you have two options. Wait to see if you get your period in the next week or two or schedule an appointment with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
