Brown Discharge instead of period ?

I was suppose to start my period 4 days ago, the day before I expected my period I had some brown discharge & I thought it was the beginning of my period & would soon turn into a normal red flow period but I kept having this brown discharge(I know that brown discharge is old blood), which would barley fill up a small panty liner till last night & still no sign of period today. What could this brown discharge mean ? Early sign of Pregnancy ?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It's possible the brown discharge can be early signs of pregnancy.  If you had unprotected sex during your fertile days, your risk for pregnancy are higher.  You might need to take a pregnancy test.
