I have really severe allergy symptoms that are currently being treated by taking Singulair everyday, using a NeilMed system to flush out my sinuses twice a day, using Flonase twice a day and receiving two allergy injections every week. Someone suggested that I try acupuncture to reduce my symptoms. Is there any evidence that this would help? How often would I need to get treated?

Thanks Daisy!
It's something that I'm interested in trying so I scheduled my first 30min session to see if I like it or now. I'm worried that it will be hard to tell if it is really helping reduce my symptoms unless I am off all of the medications that I currently am prescribed to treat my allergies. At the same time I am worried going off those medications and giving them time to work themselves out of my system because if the acupuncture does not help reduce my symptoms I will be miserable. Any suggestions on how to go about this?
