I honestly think there wasn't because we whipped the outside of the condom with a napkin with spermicide ( due to the fact that my period is not very regular we usually use spermicide with condoms so I don't have a heart attack every month my period is 1 or 2 days late)

Hello Anonymous,

With that added information, pregnancy is not likely the reason your period is late. Since you have a history of irregular periods, this may be nothing to worry about.

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for your question. Being two weeks late is of concern. Two negative pregnancy tests makes me wonder as it must do the same for you. My only suggestion is to wait another week. then contact your physician, explain the situation, and see if a blood pregnancy test is necessary.

A blood hCG (pregnancy hormone) test is more accurate. I am wondering if there was any semen on the second condom which your boyfriend reapplied; meaning semen on his penis got on the inside which then became the outside of the condom and entered your vagina.

Regards,
Maryann
